In the waste management sector, Coopservice can manage the entire special waste cycle (i.e. collection, transport and deliver of hazardous and non-hazardous residue to treatment and disposal facilities) in compliance with environment protection regulations. Waste management is carried out as provided by the Italian tracking system SISTRI as well as in line with the expert advice received on regulatory and technical aspects. Complemented by Coopservice’s other specialized activities, this complete range of waste management services constantly raises its efficiency and innovation level.

Special Waste Transport
An accurate classification allows preparing the documents necessary for transporting waste. The Coopservice business line ‘Ecologia’ relies on authorized personnel, on vehicles equipped for hazardous waste transport and on a nationwide network of warehouses.
Waste Documentation Management
The management of waste documentation is mandatory for producers of both hazardous and non-hazardous special waste. Management registers must be complemented by forms relating to waste transport and a register entry should be made stating the amount of waste generated at a production site.
Waste Sorting
As soon as they are produced, special waste items have to be safely managed until their disposal. Therefore, the waste sorting process has to be monitored by fully trained operators equipped with personal protective equipment (PPE).
Special Waste Disposal
Once the treatment cycle is completed, Coopservice guarantees that, after being collected, sorted, analysed and entered in a register, the special waste will be delivered to a fully authorized disposal facility.
