The ISO 14000 series of standards regulate aspects relating to the management of the environmental impact of an organisation's activities.

Since 2006, Coopservice has maintained an Environmental Management System that complies with the requirements of the UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 standard.
This certification attests that Coopservice identifies, assesses and effectively monitors the environmental aspects related to the activities carried out at its sites and locations where services are provided, in order to prevent all forms of pollution and reduce, where possible, the impact on the surrounding environment.
The certification has also been confirmed for the Coopservice Sevizi Fiduciari Group company.

In 2023, Coopservice obtained ISO 14064-1 Corporate Carbon Footprint certification, through which GHG emissions were quantified in order to implement Carbon Management policies and communicate its commitment to environmental sustainability to its stakeholders.

Coopservice, in line with the environmental certifications already obtained and the long-standing results achieved in the direction of carbon neutrality, has obtained EMAS registration issued by the competent Italian Section of the Ecolabel and Ecoaudit Committee.

Obtaining EMAS registration, which stands for Eco-Management and Audit Scheme, represents an important step for a company on the path to continuous improvement of its environmental performance. It is a voluntary tool created by the European Union to help organisations of all types and sizes improve their environmental performance and communicate their results in a continuous and transparent manner.

There are many benefits for participating organisations. By systematically monitoring and improving the eco-friendly performance of their companies, they promote, first and foremost, efficiency in the use of resources, with consequent positive effects on the environment but also on operating costs. Furthermore, there is no doubt that adherence to the EMAS standard contributes to improving the company's reputation, demonstrating a serious and verified commitment to sustainability. In particular, by requiring participating organisations to produce an Environmental Statement to be validated by independent verifiers, as well as binding them to communicate their Performance Indicators in a transparent and continuous manner.

Protecting the health and safety of workers is not only a legal obligation and an opportunity to reduce social costs, but also a moral duty for every company and employer. All company figures participate in this task, with different responsibilities and roles.

The 2018 UNI ISO 45001 standard “Occupational health and safety management systems – Requirements and guidance for use” is the first international standard to define minimum standards of good practice for the protection of workers worldwide. It establishes a framework for improving safety, reducing risks in the workplace and improving the health and well-being of workers, thus enabling any organisation that chooses to certify its management system under accreditation to improve its health and safety performance.

The certification has also been confirmed for the Coopservice Sevizi Fiduciari Group company.

Coopservice has maintained a Quality Management System compliant with the requirements of the UNI EN ISO 9001 standard since 1996.

This certification attests that Coopservice's processes, both those primarily related to service delivery and those supporting the organisation's operations, are planned, carried out and controlled effectively, to the satisfaction of customers and their needs.

The certification has also been confirmed for the Coopservice Sevizi Fiduciari Group company.

Certification of compliance of the management system with ISO 37001 - Anti-bribery management systems - brings several advantages to organisations that adopt it:

• it strengthens the company's reputation and image, 
• it reassures the market and stakeholders about the effectiveness and reliability of the processes that the company implements to prevent corruption,
• it constitutes a distinctive element compared to the competition.
• The management system for the prevention of corruption aims to help the company prevent, detect and tackle corruption, as well as comply with the relevant laws.

By adopting the guidelines of the standard, Coopservice rejects, prevents and combats all forms of corruption in the broadest sense of the term, i.e. any form of abuse for private gain or malpractice, including promises, inducements, incitement, requests, offers of incentives or other benefits as a reward to a person for performing or omitting to perform actions, whether due or not.

At the end of 2022, Coopservice obtained road safety certification in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 39001 standard for the inspection, alarm response, fixed surveillance, cash-in-transit, cash transport and concierge services provided by Linea Security Services.

The UNI EN ISO 39001 standard is the international standard for road safety management, covering all aspects of risk management and legislative compliance. With the implementation of the ISO 39001-certified RTS (Road Traffic Management System), Coopservice actively contributes to reducing the risk of serious road traffic accidents, improving the safety levels of its workers over time.

In this way, Coopservice can monitor the number of accidents resulting from road collisions, controlling and managing everything under its influence. The RTS management system aims to prevent, control and monitor risks and continuously improve road safety performance, enabling the proper management and constant monitoring of all activities and related processes. In addition, the ISO 39001 road safety management system guarantees:

• increasing Coopservice's efficiency and performance by reviewing production processes and organisational dynamics;
• reducing accidents resulting from road collisions;
• reducing the need for legal action;
• improving the safety levels of Coopservice workers over time;
• promoting awareness of road safety issues.

Coopservice Soc.Coop.p.A and Istituto di Vigilanza Coopservice S.p.A. have received certification from Bureau Veritas, a world leader in inspection and certification services, confirming compliance with the innovation management system as required by ISO 56001:2024. In particular, the scope of the certification obtained concerns the management of innovation in the provision of services and the efficiency of internal and operational processes, with specific reference to cleaning, handling & moving, facility, energy, technical and security services, as well as in the field of property design and sustainability. This important recognition attests to the value and continuity of the path begun in the 2018 corporate strategic plan, which has marked, over time, a significant strengthening of the resources employed in innovation, research and development and, last but not least, in projects to reduce the carbon footprint.

Coopservice has UNI CEI 11352:2014 certification for the provision of energy services in the public sector. Its E.S.CO. (Energy Service Company) status allows it to pursue energy saving and efficiency projects with guaranteed results.

ESCOs are companies that carry out interventions aimed at improving energy efficiency, i.e. measures to improve energy efficiency in the user's installations or premises, assuming the risk of the initiative and freeing the end customer from any organisational and investment burdens.

This is an important recognition of an integral part of the company's value system: the balance between effectiveness and efficiency, which aim to satisfy the customer, and attention to the environment, for sustainable socio-economic development.

SOA certification is mandatory for participation in public works tenders, i.e. it is a necessary and sufficient document to prove a company's ability to carry out public and private works. SOA certification therefore certifies and guarantees that a company in the construction sector meets all the requirements set out in current legislation on public works contracts.

The UNI CEI EN ISO 50001 standard ‘Energy management systems - Requirements and guidelines for use’ is the Italian version of the international ISO 50001 standard.
The standard specifies the requirements for creating, implementing, maintaining and improving an energy management system. The objective of such a system is to enable an organisation to pursue, through a systematic approach, the continuous improvement of its energy performance, including energy efficiency and energy consumption and use. The current edition is dated September 2018.

Coopservice has obtained ISO 27001 certification, demonstrating the best practices that the company is implementing in terms of information security. The certification provides independent and qualified verification that information security is managed in line with international best practices and corporate objectives.

The standard allows for a comprehensive approach to information security in all relevant areas: from digital and paper documents to hardware (computers and networks) and staff skills. It ensures that information (including customer and confidential information) is managed with appropriate levels of confidentiality, integrity and availability, balancing protection needs and investments.
