Environmental Management System

Coopservice has been maintaining an Environmental Management System in compliance with the UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 standard since 2006.

This certification attests that Coopservice identifies, assesses and has effective control over all environmental aspects related to the operations carried out in sites and locations designated for the provision of services, in order to prevent all forms of pollution and reduce, wherever possible, their impact.

Health and Safety Management System

Besides being a legal requirement and an opportunity for reducing social costs, protecting worker health and safety is a moral duty for every company and every employer. All corporate functions participate in this task with different roles and responsibilities. 

Fully aware of the importance of constant improvement, Coopservice has implemented a Workplace Health and Safety Management System in compliance with the OHSAS 18001:2007 standard.

Social Responsibility Management System

Coopservice has a tradition of complying with applicable labour regulations and will provide its members and employees with economic conditions in line with national, regional and provincial Trade Union agreements.

As we constantly pursue improvement, we have decided to complement our Quality, Environmental and Safety Management system with the requirements of Social Responsibility or, as it is implied by the known acronym ‘SA8000:2008’, Social Accountability.

Quality of Security Services

Private Security Firms

In 2006, Coopservice obtained certification for its security services in compliance with the UNI 10891:2000 standard applying to private security firms.

This standard establishes minimum requirements for the services supplied by private security firms operating in compliance with applicable regulations, regardless of their legal form.

The standard also includes recommendations for the provision of services such as security patrols, fixed-post monitoring, robbery and shoplifting prevention services, monitoring and alarm-receiving centres, remote surveillance, remote assistance, remote monitoring, intrusion response, cash and valuables deposit, escort, transport and handling.

The results achieved in the recent past and customer satisfaction surveys have confirmed that we have succeeded in maintaining a high level of perceived quality by responding to customer needs with a choice of services and a performance that are up to their expectations.

 

 

 

Monitoring and Alarm Receiving Centres

In 2009, Coopservice was the first company in Italy to obtain certification under the UNI 11068:2005 standard for its monitoring and alarm receiving centre in Pomezia.

The UNI 50518:2014 certification, which has replaced the 11068:2005 standard, attests that both the monitoring and alarm receiving centre and the services provided are designed, constructed and organized according to procedures that ensure efficiency and are in line with specific quality benchmarks, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and with the terms and conditions agreed upon with the customer purchasing the service.

Coopservice currently has two monitoring and alarm receiving centres certified for remote crime and fire prevention services: one in Pomezia (near Rome) and one in Genoa.

All Coopservice monitoring and alarm receiving centres in Italy meet the 10891:2000 standard and make up a network of high-technology operating facilities.
